Tamara Barrales Diaz
Supervised Therapist
Tamara is a professional with extensive experience working with children and youth in educational settings. She has completed the first year of the Behavioural Science Technician program at Durham College, and holds an extensive experience as a Psychologist outside Canada. Currently, Tamara is working as a Supervised Therpaist at Progressive Steps, implementing 1:1 behaviour intervention and therapy programming for children under the supervision of a RBA.
As a person committed to social justice, she has built a career in the educational field focused in developing socio-emotional skills to improve children and youth wellbeing and personal resources towards inclusion. Her ultimate goal when working with young individuals is to help them define and achieve their goals.
Additionally, Tamara has experience as a conference speaker and graduated professor. She also volunteers for ONTABA, Ontario Association for Behaviour Analysis, as part of the Conference Committee.
During her free time, Tamara enjoys painting with watercolours, taking pictures of nature, playing with her six-year-old son and twelve-year-old puppy. She is also a self-taught graphic designer who loves creating instructional and marketing materials.

Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Neuropsychology outside Canada.
