Sonja is a Supervised Therapist at Progressive Steps. Sonja has her diploma in Social Service Work from Durham College. When she completed her placement at Community Living Ajax-Pickering and Whitby, Sonja found her passion working with the ASD community. This led to Sonja completing the Autism and Behavioural Sciences Graduate Certificate at Durham College. She supports and celebrates all clients goals and achievements, while ensuring the work she does with the clients is fun for everyone involved! A quote that Sonja lives by and values for the clients she works with is, “You can achieve whatever you put your mind to!”
 

When she is not working, Sonja enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching TV, being outside in nature, and snuggling her guinea pig and cat, whose names are both Bean.
