Supervised Therapist/Staff Trainer
Sahar Omed is a Supervised Therapist at Progressive Steps Training and Consultation Inc. She has a diploma in Developmental Service Work and is currently pursing a Bachelor of Behavioural Science. She has experience working with both children and adults diagnosed with developmental disabilities, including ASD. Under the supervision of a RBA, Sahar works directly with individuals with ASD to help improve their quality of life and reach their goals.
Sahar has always had a passion for working to support individuals reach their best potential in life. By using ABA strategies, she can ensure that the individuals are getting the best support possible. She ensures that the support is individualized, the voices of the clients are heard throughout, and that they are able to engage in learning through fun and creative ways. By using a holistic and collaborative approach that puts the needs of the client first, she can ensure they are receiving the best possible outcome.
In her free time, Sahar enjoys reading books, learning new recipes to cook and bake, exploring the beauty of nature, and spending time with loves ones.
