Supervisor, Behaviour Assessment and Treatment Clinic (BATC)

Avo is a Supervised Senior Therapist at Progressive Steps Training & Consultation Inc. He has an Undergraduate Degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis, a Master of Professional Education with a focus in ABA, is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) and a Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA). Under the supervision of a RBA (Ont.), Avo develops and implements programs, facilitates group sessions, provides training and consultation to Supervised Therapists, and provides consultation to clients and their families.

Avo has over 10 years of experience in ABA and supporting individuals with special needs in a variety of settings.  He speaks four languages and provided lectures, support, and resources for newcomer families who have a special needs child. Avo is passionate about practical and evidence-based treatment and a firm believer in inclusion and diversity.

In his free time, Avo likes spending time with his friends and family, working out, horseback riding, and spending time with his dog. He is also interested in animal training.
