Nil Yamakoglu
Supervised Therapist
Nil is a Supervised Therapist currently employed at Progressive Steps Training & Consultation Inc. Over the past 12 years, she has dedicated her career to working with children and their families in a range of rehabilitation settings, private clinics, and as an entrepreneur in the field of kindergarten education before relocating to Canada.
Nil's deep motivation stems from her desire to comprehend the underlying reasons behind human behaviors within the context of family dynamics. Her psychology degree has equipped her with valuable insights for guiding parents and families effectively. However, her unwavering passion lies in making a more profound impact on behaviors, providing practical solutions, and facilitating behavioral adjustments. This led her to pursue further education in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), aspiring to enhance her understanding of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and contribute meaningfully to their lives.
In her personal life, Nil finds joy in the company of her two feline companions, nurturing a secret wish to one day take them on a camping adventure. She possesses a keen interest in the philosophy of arts and indulges her love for exploration through traveling.
