Supervised Senior Therapist
Eric Sapi is a Supervised Senior Therapist at Progressive Steps Training & Consultation Inc. He has a Master’s Degree in Applied Disability Studies, specializing in applied behaviour analysis (ABA), is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) and a Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA (Ont.)) Eric provides direct assessment and program implementation, program development, and behavioural consultation for clients and their families.
Eric has a passion for producing meaningful behaviour improvements for his clients and their families. He values providing evidence-based services with an emphasis on safety, rapport building, trustworthiness, empathy, and empowerment. He is ardent on helping clients develop functional living and communication skills to facilitate everyday life. Eric believes that collaborating with clients and caregivers to create ethically sound and individualized services is essential for optimal outcomes.
Outside of work, Eric enjoys spending time with family, playing sports, training martial arts, and going for hikes with his dog.

Providing behavioural analytic services to children, youth, adults and their families including:

Individualized skill assessments (e.g., ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, AFLS)

Functional Behaviour Assessments (e.g., reduction and replacement of challenging and/or maladaptive behaviours)

Behaviour Intervention Plans and individualized skill acquisition programs pertaining to daily living skills (e.g., toileting, school readiness, self-help, and social skills)
