Jasmine is a Lead Therapist at Progressive Steps Training and Consultation Inc. and is currently enrolled in a Master's program in Applied Behaviour Analysis. Jasmine discovered her passion for working with neurodiverse individuals while working at the Get Ready for School program. Jasmine is eager to make learning fun for her clients while guiding individuals to connect with the world.

When Jasmine isn't working, she enjoys petting her dogs and cat, or playing tennis. She also loves cooking for her friends and family.

Experience

2 years of parent coaching, which assists the family in having a better understanding of the individual’s progress and room for improvement while guiding the family to promote generalization to the client’s daily life
4 years of experience teaching social, academic and daily living skills to clients aged 2- 14
Experience working with children and youth one one-on-one, group settings and online learning, while enhancing learning experience to be fun and interesting
2 years of Pivotal Response Teaching (PRT), which motivates individuals with ASD to independently request items
