Camp Life is designed for teens and tweens ready to take their independence to the next level! Our comprehensive program combines practical skill-building with social connection in real community settings.
What Your Teen Will Learn:

Navigate public transportation confidently
Read schedules and plan routes
Practice safety awareness and problem-solving
Build independence for school and community access
🏪 Community Skills
Explore local businesses and services
Practice appropriate community behavior
Learn to ask for help and access resources
Build confidence in unfamiliar environments
💳 Purchasing & Payment Skills
Handle money and make change
Use debit/credit cards appropriately
Compare prices and make smart choices
Practice budgeting and financial planning
🤝 Social Skills Development
Build friendships with peers
Practice conversation and social cues
Navigate group dynamics
Develop conflict resolution skills
Camp Life is supervised by a Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) and may be eligible for submission to OAP funding.
Camp Life requires a minimum commitment of 3 days per week.

Camp Runs: July 20, 2026 - Aug 14, 2026
Days: Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays
Age range: 12 - 17
Time: 10am - 4pm
Location: Mondays and Fridays are spent at the Progressive Life Centre - 275 MacKenzie Ave #350 in Ajax. Wednesday is Community Outing Day, where participants practice skills in real-world settings.
**The Progressive Life Centre will be closed Monday August 3 and no programs will run**
